It’s a huge coup for Bartletts as it recognises the fact the firm achieved the highest standards of professionalism, service and expertise and have undergone a rigorous assessment by the Law Society in order to secure CQS status, which marks the firm out as meeting high standards in the residential conveyancing process.   The scheme is supported by the Council of Mortgage Lenders, the Building Society Association, the Association of British Insurers, the Legal Ombudsman and the Land Registry.

Law Society President John Wotton said that the Law Society introduced CQS to promote high standards in the home buying process.  “CQS improves efficiency with common, consistent standards and service levels and enables consumers to recognise practices that provide a quality residential conveyancing service.

Buying a home is one of the largest purchases anyone will make in their lifetime, so it is essential that it is done to the highest standard by a solicitor. There are many different conveyancing service providers out there, making it difficult for home buyers to identify those which can ensure a safe and efficient level of service.”

Bartletts Solicitors has opened a new office in Wrexham and recently held an open day to celebrate.

Bartletts Solicitors is a name that will already be familiar with many people in the local area, as the firm has worked with clients in and around Wrexham for a number of years. Now that the firm has opened a dedicated office in the heart of the town, it took the opportunity to make itself known to the wider community by holding an open day, during which free bags for life were given to members of the public.

Owain Dodd, a specialist personal injury solicitor who has worked for Bartletts Solicitors for many years and now heads up the Wrexham office commented on  the open day saying:

“There was a fantastic turnout for our Wrexham office open day recently, and everyone seemed to enjoy the chance to meet the staff as well as get one of our free bags for life. Everyone at the new office is feeling incredibly pleased to be in this new location, especially because we’ve worked so closely with clients in the area for many years, and the feedback from locals and clients alike has been very positive.”

Located at 5 Charles Street, Wrexham, the new branch is committed to personal injury work, and only handles claims for compensation, offering legal advice, guidance and support throughout the claims process. As we try to encourage parents to use their cars less and children to get more exercise, one eco-friendly innovation that is taking off across the country is the Walking Bus Scheme.

A Walking Bus is a group of children who make their way to and from school on foot, supervised by participating adults. It may remind you of the old ‘crocodile’ of school children on an outing as they march down the street!

 

Child safety is an important element of the scheme, and so Bartletts Solicitors have been delighted to support the Upton Heath walking bus through the purchase of some bright orange safety jackets.
