Bartletts Solicitors and residents of Hoole, Chester raised a cuppa and a cake to toast two charities at a fundraising coffee morning recently.
The team at Bartletts invited local residents, clients, friends and family to their Coffee and Cake Morning at Hoole Community Centre to raise money for Macmillan Cancer and Parkinson’s UK.
More than 40 people tucked into a host of delicious cakes at the event, raising a total of £703 for both charities.
Event organiser Nina Sperring, Solicitor at Bartletts Solicitors, said: “There was a great atmosphere at the event and we had so many tasty treats to tempt people. Thank you to everyone in the local community of Hoole who donated prizes for our raffle, gave us goodies or who came along to help us raise so much for our chosen charities.”
“As a firm, we take every opportunity to get involved in the local community and to give something back. This coffee morning was a great success – raising money for charity, getting local people together and raising awareness of the fantastic facilities on offer at the Hoole Community Centre.”
